- I'm a professor of English at East Central University, where I have taught since 2006. I have a PhD from Miami University and an MA from the University of Tulsa. In addition to teaching, I do research on subjects like eighteenth and nineteenth century art & music, fantasy and science fiction lit, and comics. I've also written a ton of fantasy and sci-fi stories which have appeared in magazines and anthologies in the US and abroad.
